20 Weeks

How far along? 20 Weeks

Baby Size: A small cantaloupe...or the length of a banana!
Total weight gain/loss: According to my doctor this morning I've gained a grand total of 1.5 lbs. I'm so freaking proud of that number I wanted to jump up and down
Maternity clothes? Yeah I'm much more comfortable in maternity pants. I can still wear my pre-pregnancy shirts though
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Fine, I have to pee a lot at night though.
Best moment this week: Starting our registry.
Miss Anything? Movement, I havent' really felt her wiggling in a while but the doc says its probably her position.
Movement: Not really and it's kinda bothering me, asked the doc and she said within the next month I'll really feel her.
Food cravings: French Dip...it was delicious.
Anything making you queasy or sick: OJ and if I go too long without eating.
Have you started to show yet: Yeah I have a belly

Mood: I've been pretty happy, but had a minor set back this morning and freak out when the doc told me I had partial placenta previa. My nature was to google the crap out of it and hopefully I'm in the 90% of women that it clears up in. I have another ultrasound in 2 weeks and doc appt in 4. Regardless just means I get to see my daughter more often.
Looking forward to: Decorating her nursery. We want to paint one wall an accent color and started picking out her bedding and theme. I'm excited to make her a place of her own.

19 Weeks and Gender Reveal

 

How far along? 19 weeks...almost halfway there!

Baby Size: My little bean is now 11 ounces. Moving and grooving!
Total weight gain/loss: 8+ lbs and counting
Maternity clothes? Uh yeah definetly!!
Stretch marks? Not yet!
Sleep: Sleeping pretty well
Best moment this week: Hands down...finding out the sex of the baby
Miss Anything? Nope
Movement: Feeling more and more

Food cravings: Nuggets, Nuggets and Nuggets....seriously
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, but if I drink too fast, I get sick.
Have you started to show yet: LOL!
Gender: GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On, though the hotter it is, the worse the swelling
Mood? Ecstatic!
Looking forward to: Getting all the plans in place for the nursery.

We had our anatomy scan at 8:30 this morning, we were so excited and nervous about finding out the gender! I really hoped that Baby would cooperate...I've heard that the umbilical cord can often get in the way and make it difficult to get a good shot. The tech revealed that baby was breech, which made it a little difficult to get all the angles and shots the tech wanted. After about 45 minutes she was able to get the "money shot." Kevin was sooooo excited to hear "girl." Anyway...we got to see how much Baby had progressed over the last several weeks.  She has a healthy spine and we could see the kidneys, heart, brain, and more! It was amazing! I get to go back in 4 weeks for another scan, since they couldn't see all her heart chambers and abdomen from how she was laying, but that's okay....I get to see my daughter again!!

18 Weeks

 

How far along? 18 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Still no idea, will find out next week

Baby Size: A bell pepper!
Maternity clothes? Yup
Stretch marks? Not yet!
Sleep: Sleeping well, though I'm worried our mattress top might be too soft! Starting to get those aches and pains I've been reading about.
Best moment this week: Sunday night I felt a distinct kick and seeing the joy and wonder on Kevin's face as he felt the baby kicking me, was by far the best moment of pregnancy so far.
Miss Anything? Nope, not really
Movement: Yup, I can feel it roll from one side to the other and light kicks
Food cravings: Food in general...I finally have my appetite back and eating with a vengence!
Anything making you queasy or sick: just Chicken unless its in nugget form
Have you started to show yet: Oh yeah
Gender: We find out next Monday!!!!  I can't wait!!!
Labor Signs: No

Mood? Happier that I can eat!
Looking forward to: FINDING OUT THE GENDER!! Haha, can you tell I'm excited?!

17 Weeks

How far along? 17 Weeks

Baby Size: An onion
Total weight gain/loss: 4-5 pounds...I'm noticing that the scale is slowing making its way up!
Maternity clothes? Yup, pretty much everything!
Stretch marks? No...thankfully!
Sleep: Sleeping well still!
Best moment this week: Saw my dad on Saturday July, 6 and he guessed GIRL!!
Miss Anything? Honestly...food. I had a rough week keeping things down or eating more than a few bites at a time
Movement: I thought I felt something, but maybe not
Food cravings: Chicken nuggets
Have you started to show yet: Yeah there is a signifigant bump, but everyone says I am just belly
Gender: Still thinking Girl.

Happy or Moody most of the time: I think this week I was a little more moody than usual.

16 Weeks!

How far along? 16 Weeks

Baby Size: An avacado
Total weight gain/loss: 4 pounds, though it seems to flux on a daily basis.
Maternity clothes?  Yeah. I tried wearing my old work pants today. Could button them last week, not even close this week, which is weird cause it looks like my bump shrunk between 15 and 16 weeks.

Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Yeah it's been a much better week
Best moment this week:  Spending quality time with the hubs. First trimester I felt like a bump on a log. Second trimester I actually want to snuggle with my hubby. Also discovering I actually have a "glow."
Miss Anything?  Nope not really
Movement: The other day I thought I felt a flutter, but it might have been gas
Food cravings:  Still really not in the mood to eat, but Kit Kats are amazing
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still not a fan of mexican (which is so weird for me) and too much food doesn't make me happy
Have you started to show yet: It looks like it shrunk this week.

Looking forward to:  A four day weekend. Seeing my daddy on Saturday. Hubby's 40th birthday on Sunday!

15 Weeks

 How far along? 15 Weeks

Baby Size: An orange!
Total weight gain/loss: 3-4 pounds, though it seems to flux on a daily basis.
Maternity clothes?  Yup. Much more comfortable in them. Finally got my bra size re-measured and was SHOCKED to go from a 38B to a 40E!

Stretch marks? No
Sleep:  It's been rough. I have sciatic pain on my left side. Been using the snoogle a lot
Best moment this week:  I've had a rough week. I feel like I'm battling some minor depression and I am not sure why.
Miss Anything?  Not really
Movement: Still really wishing I felt something.
Food cravings:  I really don't want to eat. I really really want a Turkey, Bacon and Lettuce Sandwich though.
Anything making you queasy or sick: If I eat too late or too much, I get sick
Have you started to show yet: Yeah I have a pretty pronounced BUMP

Gender prediction: I'm going with a girl

Happy or Moody most of the time:  I've been kinda down recently. I really want to hear, see of feel the baby and my next appointment isn't till July 22.
Looking forward to:  July 4th. Missing my dad and can't wait to see him.

Week 14

How far along? 14 Weeks

Baby Size: A lemon
Total weight gain/loss: I haven't checked this week...but I'm gonna say total 3 lbs (though from the bump it looks like more!)
Maternity clothes?Stretch marks? Yes/No
Sleep:  Not well. My back is really sore. I own a snoogle, but that thing takes up more of the bed than I can deal with
Best moment this week: Waking the hubs up on Father's Day to tell him next year we'll have a six month old!
Miss Anything?  Nope not really
Movement: I really want there to be, but as of yet, nope
Food cravings: I'll rarely say no to sweets right now...yum!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I'm getting better every day...still not a fan of chicken breast or mexican right now.
Have you started to show yet:  Um, yeah definetly. It's kinda insane.
Gender prediction:  Still thinking girl...my mom says I am carrying high.
