How far along? 18 Weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Still no idea, will find out next week

Baby Size: A bell pepper!
Maternity clothes? Yup
Stretch marks? Not yet!
Sleep: Sleeping well, though I'm worried our mattress top might be too soft! Starting to get those aches and pains I've been reading about.
Best moment this week: Sunday night I felt a distinct kick and seeing the joy and wonder on Kevin's face as he felt the baby kicking me, was by far the best moment of pregnancy so far.
Miss Anything? Nope, not really
Movement: Yup, I can feel it roll from one side to the other and light kicks
Food cravings: Food in general...I finally have my appetite back and eating with a vengence!
Anything making you queasy or sick: just Chicken unless its in nugget form
Have you started to show yet: Oh yeah
Gender: We find out next Monday!!!!  I can't wait!!!
Labor Signs: No

Mood? Happier that I can eat!

17 Weeks

How far along? 17 Weeks

Baby Size: An onion
Total weight gain/loss: 4-5 pounds...I'm noticing that the scale is slowing making its way up!
Maternity clothes? Yup, pretty much everything!
Stretch marks? No...thankfully!
Sleep: Sleeping well still!
Best moment this week: Saw my dad on Saturday July, 6 and he guessed GIRL!!
Miss Anything? Honestly...food. I had a rough week keeping things down or eating more than a few bites at a time
Movement: I thought I felt something, but maybe not
Food cravings: Chicken nuggets
Have you started to show yet: Yeah there is a signifigant bump, but everyone says I am just belly
Gender: Still thinking Girl.
Labor Signs: No

Happy or Moody most of the time: I think this week I was a little more moody than usual.
Looking forward to:  Finding out the gender in two weeks!!!

16 Weeks!

How far along? 16 Weeks

Baby Size: An avacado
Total weight gain/loss: 4 pounds, though it seems to flux on a daily basis.
Maternity clothes?  Yeah. I tried wearing my old work pants today. Could button them last week, not even close this week, which is weird cause it looks like my bump shrunk between 15 and 16 weeks.

Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Yeah it's been a much better week
Best moment this week:  Spending quality time with the hubs. First trimester I felt like a bump on a log. Second trimester I actually want to snuggle with my hubby. Also discovering I actually have a "glow."
Miss Anything?  Nope not really
Movement: The other day I thought I felt a flutter, but it might have been gas
Food cravings:  Still really not in the mood to eat, but Kit Kats are amazing
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still not a fan of mexican (which is so weird for me) and too much food doesn't make me happy
Have you started to show yet: It looks like it shrunk this week.

Looking forward to:  A four day weekend. Seeing my daddy on Saturday. Hubby's 40th birthday on Sunday!

15 Weeks

 How far along? 15 Weeks

Baby Size: An orange!
Total weight gain/loss: 3-4 pounds, though it seems to flux on a daily basis.
Maternity clothes?  Yup. Much more comfortable in them. Finally got my bra size re-measured and was SHOCKED to go from a 38B to a 40E!

Stretch marks? No
Sleep:  It's been rough. I have sciatic pain on my left side. Been using the snoogle a lot
Best moment this week:  I've had a rough week. I feel like I'm battling some minor depression and I am not sure why.
Miss Anything?  Not really
Movement: Still really wishing I felt something.
Food cravings:  I really don't want to eat. I really really want a Turkey, Bacon and Lettuce Sandwich though.
Anything making you queasy or sick: If I eat too late or too much, I get sick
Have you started to show yet: Yeah I have a pretty pronounced BUMP

Happy or Moody most of the time:  I've been kinda down recently. I really want to hear, see of feel the baby and my next appointment isn't till July 22.
Looking forward to:  July 4th. Missing my dad and can't wait to see him.

Week 14

How far along? 14 Weeks

Baby Size: A lemon
Total weight gain/loss: I haven't checked this week...but I'm gonna say total 3 lbs (though from the bump it looks like more!)
Maternity clothes?Stretch marks? Yes/No
Sleep:  Not well. My back is really sore. I own a snoogle, but that thing takes up more of the bed than I can deal with
Best moment this week: Waking the hubs up on Father's Day to tell him next year we'll have a six month old!
Miss Anything?  Nope not really
Movement: I really want there to be, but as of yet, nope
Food cravings: I'll rarely say no to sweets right now...yum!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I'm getting better every day...still not a fan of chicken breast or mexican right now.
Have you started to show yet:  Um, yeah definetly. It's kinda insane.
Gender prediction:  Still thinking girl...my mom says I am carrying high.

Happy or Moody most of the time: TIRED!
Looking forward to:  Finding out the gender end of July!!

Week 13

How far along? 13 weeks... you have fingerprints!! You are getting your vocal cords and growing little teeth. Almost 3 inches long!

Baby Size: A Peach
Total weight gain/loss: About 2 lbs gained

Maternity clothes?  Already wearing maternity pants/shorts. I have a feeling they will be my best friend. Still able to wear my normal shirts, but feel more comfortable in maternity shirts.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Sleeping pretty good. After a bought of insomnia. I just wake up to the call of nature 1-3 times a night
Best moment this week: The fact that I'm feeling better! I have more energy and foods are starting to sound better.  Got sick twice, but I think I just might have eaten too much.

Have you told family and friends: YES! And so happy everyone knows now! :)
Miss Anything? I don't miss wine nearly as much as I thought I would.
Movement: No, but I hope soon!!
Food cravings:  Sweet and Spicy. CARBS!! Bagel Bites and Ice Cream Sandwiches
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Chicken Breast. I can eat it shredded or in nugget form, anything else is naseous city. Mexican food :(
Have you started to show yet:  I definetly think so.
Gender prediction:  I think girl. Hubs thinks girl. Grandma thinks girl. We'll know July 22nd.

Looking forward to: Really looking forward to seeing my dad for July 4th weekend so he can finally make his gender prediction.

Surprise

April 9th....nearly 3 months after my emergency ectopic surgery....

Shocked was an understatement. Scared...yes. Happy and elated....definetly.

Because I had the ectopic pregnancy, I immediately called the doctor.

On April 18th, I got the confirmation I needed.  I had a "bean", as my husband and I started calling the little life inside of me. I was approximately 5 weeks 3 days in the 1st sono.

 

 

May 9th was a follow-up appointment to make sure everything was progressing and now I had a little "teddy bear." At this appointment I was measuring approximately 3 days ahead of my due date due to measurements. The heartbeat was 189 bpm. I was 8 weeks 5 days in the 2nd sono.

 

 

 

June 5th. Kevin and I went in for a NT Sono. The heart rate was 162bpm. The measure of the fluid on the neck was 1.6mm and there is officially a baby in there. It was amazing to hear the hearbeat fnally and see the legs, feet, arms, hand, nose, brain.

 

 

 

**Update: Got a call 6/10 and the doc said everything is normal from the NT Sono.**

 

So if all goes according to plan, I'll get to meet the little one December 2013.
